Meet The Director
Growing up on the New England seacoast, Emily felt a sense of destiny guiding her journey westward until she reached Maui in 2004. It was on Maui where her passion for performance blossomed and continues to evolve.
Emily Aiyana is a Fusion Belly Dance Artist, Fire Performer, Artistic Director of FireLight Hawaii LLC and founding member of her former troupe, Merkabah Fire Productions LLC. Emily has been captivating audiences for over a decade both as a soloist and troupe member for all types of events and high profile entertainment agencies across the island and beyond. Emily loves the art of storytelling through movement and is known for her intricate choreographies, exquisite costume designs and fire fusion belly dance.
Emily has been dedicated to studying the art of belly dance since 2009 and has trained extensively in Classical, Contemporary and Fusion Styles. She offers a modern interpretation of old world sacred dances combined with fire and elements of theatre.
Through teaching and performing, Emily aims to inspire and empower others to embody their own unique self expression.
